Turret Forklift Operator — A Turret Operator’s primary responsibilities are to pick all orders in a safe, accurate, and methodical manner in a narrow aisle. You may put away products, relocate pallets, cancel, and inspect orders. You can get a good idea of what we are looking for when hiring for this position. Summary
Our distribution center is looking for dependable and experienced Turret Forklift Operators to join our team. This is an order-picking role, so your main tasks will involve using the lift to retrieve items from warehouse shelves for shipment and helping package and label them for order fulfillment. Other tasks include keeping track of inventory changes and completing daily production reports. Order picker, Standup & Cherry Picker forklift. All applicants must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities
  • Use a Turret Lift to place or remove large items on warehouse shelves
  • Package and label items for shipment
  • Keep track of shipments and product relocations within the warehouse
  • May use the forklift with a work platform to elevate workers so they can check inventory
  • Follow all safety regulations
  • Assist with other tasks as needed, including loading and unloading delivery trucks
Qualifications

The Turret Forklift Operator should have:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
  • Must speak English
  • One year of experience operating a Turret Forklift
  • Experience operating a pallet jack (preferred)
  • OSHA certification (preferred)
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical skills
  • Physical stamina
