Sit-down Forklift Operator
Description
Sit-down Forklift Operator — A forklift operator will operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.
Responsibilities
- Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them in assigned places
- Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies
Qualifications
- Proven 2 years experience as a forklift operator
- Must speak English
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Excellent physical condition and coordination
- Valid certification to operate forklifts is a plus
- High school diploma
- Able to pass a background check and drug test.
