Description

Forklift Operator - Reach Turret Forklift, Bendi Forklift — Distribution companies seek skilled and reliable forklift operators to join their warehouse teams. As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for operating various forklifts, such as reach turret and Bendi, to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment, such as reach turret forklifts and bendi forklifts.
  • Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner, following all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance of forklifts and report any malfunctions or damages.
  • Pick orders from warehouse shelves and prepare them for shipment, using RF scanning equipment and labels.
  • Put away products and materials in designated locations, using forklifts and other equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions, using warehouse management software and systems.
  • Comply with all warehouse safety rules and regulations, such as wearing protective gear, keeping aisles clear, and reporting any hazards or incidents.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Qualifications

The Forklift Operator - Cherry/Order Picker must have:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • You must have verifiable experience to be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial forklift vehicles.
  • The goal will be to ensure that materials and products will always be in the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • You will be TESTED on your level of experience and skills.
  • Must maintain current Forklift Cert for both capable of operating (Toyota/Yale/Crown/Nissan, Raymond) lift equipment
  • Valid CDL
  • Be presentable
  • Must pass a drug test
  • Must pass a background check
  • Trustworthy, responsible person, capable of handling all warehouse functions, RF Scanner, quick learner, capable of multi-tasking, capable of working independently and as a team, well organized, inventory, capable of cycle counting, critical thinker.
