
Forklift Operator - Cherry/Order Picker — Distribution companies are looking for a dependable and experienced Cherry /Order Picker to join our team. This is an order-picking role, so your main tasks will involve using the forklift to retrieve items from warehouse shelves for shipment and helping package and label them for order fulfillment. Other tasks include keeping track of inventory changes and completing daily production reports. Applicants should have at least six months to a year of experience operating a sit-down cherry picker or forklift, and some shipping and receiving experience is preferred.
The Forklift Operator - Cherry/Order Picker will:
- Use a cherry/order picker forklift to place or remove items on warehouse shelves.
- Package and label items for shipment.
- Keep track of shipments and product relocations within the warehouse.
- Use a cherry/order picker forklift with a work platform to elevate workers so they can check inventory, RF Scanning.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including loading and unloading delivery trucks.
The Forklift Operator - Cherry/Order Picker must have:
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months to a year of experience operating a cherry/order picker.
- Experience operating an electric pallet jack.
- OSHA certification
- Hand-eye coordination
